Accessibility Ramp and Basement Stair Railings

Project Overview

Two-part aluminum package at a tan brick ranch: a long side-yard accessibility ramp with black picket rails, and a below-grade basement stairwell fully framed in matching black aluminum rails for a safe second egress.

Analysis

Owner needed both an accessibility ramp to the side entry and a code-compliant guard around the basement stairwell well.

Process

1) Survey both scopes 2) Shop-fab ramp + well panels 3) Anchor posts 4) Hang panels 5) Clean up & seal.

Outcome

Safer daily access for an aging-in-place resident plus a protected, code-compliant basement egress.
