Curved Paver Patio Steps with Black Railings

Project Overview

Fan-shaped curved paver steps rising from a back patio to a raised rear entry. Black aluminum picket rails wrap the landing and flank the step return, both installed on the new masonry.

Analysis

New masonry patio called for rails that hugged the curve without looking boxy. We built custom-radius rail panels.

Process

1) Template the curve 2) Shop-fab panels 3) Core drill anchors 4) Install rails 5) Touch-up.

Outcome

Rails that follow the curve cleanly and leave the masonry as the star of the patio.
